Just that really, what are my realistic options?

I don't like Phil and Teds, also I want DS to be able to face outwards and for it to take a car seat.

My gap will be 2.4, ds is also a bolter and does sit down protests in the street. [Hmm]

I reckon you'll really struggle to find something but maybe a Baby Jogger City Select which folds very flat. It meets your other criteria but can feel heavy to push. I'd put the baby over the front wheels as the more pressure you have over the front, the harder it is to maneouvre and the heavier it feels. It is nigh on impossible to lift up kerbs though. It's such a shame as it's really good on paper.

I wonder if the Jane Twone would fit? Or the iCandy Peach Blossom if you can put a seat or carrycot inside the car? I think you need to get to a good pushchair shop and try. I agree totally that the City Select may well fit but I agree with Hypatia that I suspect it I'll be too heavy too quickly for you.

Tiggy I could get a buzz in the back of it with the seat unit off (the seat unit could fit in the boot with the frame) and the wheels off of the frame (does that help?). I was looking at the Uppababy and wondering about the rumble seat as another option. I might see if Dsis fancies a trip to the next town to look at the independent baby shop there.

My out and about nipper double fits easily in the boot of my little Honda Jazz.

sevenfatbubbles · 13/07/2012 20:28

I know you don't want a Phil and teds but with the wheels off it wld def fit.

Killergerbil · 13/07/2012 20:34

Nipper fits in everything, but double doesn't take a car seat

BombasticAghast · 13/07/2012 20:37

Sorry.

TribbleWithoutACause · 13/07/2012 20:37

Seven My only concern with a Phil and Teds is that DS is so tall that he wouldn't be comfortable when its in the newborn mode.

How old?I've got a 2005 one and a p&t explorer fits in
I know you said you didn't like them, neither did I buy went through 4 doubles before realizing it was the only one that works for a 2 yr age gap, albeit not perfectly

Number44 · 13/07/2012 20:39

But not buy
