Britax B-Agile

I've been looking at the Britax B-Agile on the web, but have yet to actually see one in a shop. It's hard to get an idea of size etc without having seen one - Has anyone purchased this buggy? Would you recommend?

Yes. I have owned one. It's a lovely neat pushchair. Best suited to bigger children and shorter parents. But lovely and I would recommend if it's not for a baby.

Tiggy why do you say it is not suitable for a baby? Is it because it doesn't lie flat enough? I am thinking of buying one but would buy the carrycot to clip onto it as well. Would that work? Also, I am 5'5''.

And do you think it steers well? Is the manoeuvrability good up curbs etc?

It's certainly flat enough for a newborn but the carrycot is nice also (if tight to fit), what tiggy means is beyond the carrycot/lie flat seat stage when the baby wants to sit up there is something about the seat that seems to make them slump. I fixed mine by adding straps around the frame and across the back of the seat to make the seat back more upright. Tiggy reckoned it was because the crotch strap was too far forward, I was never sure exactly what it was only that it happened.
The steering, suspension, push and ability to tip up curbs are all good. I live in a fairly cobbly bumpy urban place and I found it perfect for that.

Ihateparties is correct. Older babies seem to slump and slide to one side in the B-Agile - I still have no idea why and yet it just doesn't happen in the City Mini. My son would have been circa 18 months and just looked awful in it. My eldest however looked fabulous in it. I think the B-Agile is better than the BJCM for older children, but the BJCM is better from birth. Don't get me wrong I liked the B-Agile and I am far from a fussy mum - but the seating position of the B-Agile was just too much.
