Posting for a friend.

Baby is 5mo. Currently using a Silver Cross pramette thingy - fine for walking, but has just bought a little car and it doesn't fit in the small boot.

So, looking for -

Compact, one-part fold, fits in small boot.
Parent facing
Suitable for a baby who prefers laying down still, but will last for a while
Not too much £s.

My mind drew a blank when asked today, so I thought I'd pick the brains of you lovely lot :)

I think to be honest your choices are limited. I am currently trying to find one too and theres not much that is really small that will have the child parent facing beyond 12 months old. The ones I can think of are the Petite Star Evolve Pramette, the Petite Star Njoy Up Bubble, the Bugaboo Bee (not that small folded), the Babystyle Oyster, the Mutsy Evo, the Maxi Cosi Streety, the Loola Up. I am not sure all these fulfil your criteria eg the Evo is smaller folded in 2 pieces but will fold as one and the Bubble is not yet in the UK and I am not sure about the Evolve. But a small parent facing pushchair is hard!!

I think, ideally, she needs a lightweight stroller which happens to be parent facing. Everything else is too similar to what she already has... Maybe we're onto a gap in the market :)

She needs one of the 2000/2001 silvercross wayfarers Grin

I reckon it's a massive gap in the market!

I'm gonna get one of these when they come out, which is apparently mid July. Of course buying from another country will always be a bit of a risk but at £160ish delivered the cost is not huge.

Tiggy from what I remember the zia evolve is only parent facing for

I will suggest it, thank you :)

Maybe we should invent one!

I know ihateparies but I was clutching at straws!! It is a serious gap in the market TBH - Its a shame the Zapp doesnt sit upright....

Oh yeah, you've just reminded me why I never got one, had totally forgotten! If the oyster would fit in her boot it would be good but I've never seen the pf fold in real life so I could be way out. Something on this list may have to give? Unless carrying the thing is an issue then there are quite a number of things with a 2 piece fold that are extremely quick to put up and down.

MB seems tough and it has face-to-face seat; for compact folding shape, toughness and rich color options, you might consider Baby Jogger.
