Doubles: Nipper 360 or City Select?

Has anyone tried and tested both? I currently have the City Select for my 20mo and 5mo. I don't like the fact that's it's SO heavy and slow to push. I've got tennis elbow from lifting it onto buses and the ultimate crunch came today: trying to walk holding hands with DS but could not steer the buggy onehanded with baby in so DS had to get back in his seat before he ran into the road.
A friend told me to get a Mipper instead. What do you think? Worth selling the CS and swapping?

Theres no doubt the Nipper is light, but how easy you will find it on buses, I dont know because its wider than a standard doorway - unless you wait for the new narrower version thats coming out soon. I think most double pushchairs will be lighter than the City Select once it reaches "hurt" point - I got there too! How about a Britax B-Dual, a Kidz Kargo Duellette, Baby Jogger City Mini or GT, Air Buggy Mimi or many others?

Thanks Tiggy, hadn't heard of those other ones you mentioned. We liked the Select before we bought it because of all the different seat positions but hadn't factored weight of babies to be such an issue. I'll look into those ones. Which buggy did you settle for in the end?

I went through a load of doubles before finding the Peach Blossom worked best for us. We also have a Mountain Buggy +One and I had a TwinGo followed by a Bugaboo Donkey too. I am about to get a Jane Twone to have a good look at and I fancy a new narrow Nipper....

Tiggy are you a double buggy collector? Grin

No but I had something like 40 last year alone :) And a few more this year!
