BJCM cocoon?

Hi I've got a 2011 city mini and looking for a cocoon/ babynest as baby due in December and I'm unsure about the bj carrycots.

Has any one used a petite star cocoon or the bugaboo one?

How do they fit on?
Would I be better to order a snunkie babynest?

Tia

I used the Bugaboo one and it fits great, but it only fits forward facing. I saw a picture of a Petite Zia soft cot on recently and it looked brilliant parent facing. The Graco soft cots fit too.

Thanks (again) tiggy!
I'd like a compact carrycot but would need it second hand and I have no idea if they can be stripped and machine washed. I can't find any info on washing them. Confused

I saw one this last week with the Zia cot on, it looks to fit really snugly and having a hood is better than the graco one, plus it's all round nicer and a bit bigger. The one thing I'm not sure of it secure fitting. The graco one has clips to attach to the d rings, the zia one has plastic hoop things x4 that are suppose to go round the zia frame to stop it moving backwards(?) I guess, then at the rear it velcros on to the Zia under the back of the seat. I don't think you could do that on the city mini so not sure how people are stopping them slipping forward. I suspect there's a way I just don't know it.
I think on balance I'd be tempted to try and find a compact carrycot within your budget if possible Grin

I used a Phil and Ted's Cocoon with a BJCM. It fitted perfectly and D rings on the BJCM coincide with Velcro ties on the Cocoon.
