Baby Jogger Compact Carrycot

Can someone please help me clear up some confusion?

I have a 2010 baby jogger summit and a 2011 bjcm. Apparently the bumper bar will fit on both, as both have the accessories fitting point.

Someone has told me that the compact carrycot fits in the accessories fitting point, but baby jogger say that the carrycot will not fit on the 2010 summit.

Who is right? Could it be due to needing to remove the hood to fit the carrycot (the summit one doesn't pop off)? If it's only due to that, then I'm a dab hand with a screwdriver

The Baby Jogger catalogue sat in front of me right now says that both the Compact and the Compact Plus carrycots fit the Summit XC Single. It should just pop into the accessory bracket - where the bumper bar goes.

That's what I thought Tiggy! But Baby Jogger are saying the adaptors are different, even though they admit the bumper bar fits both.

I think I'm just going to have to try one and see...

Compact Carrycot - it is listed at the bottom.
If you click on the catalogue logo at the very bottom then you can see what I can see....and the Compact and Compact Plus carrycots are both on Page 22-23 and again both are listed as suitable for the Summit. It might be worth you downloading a copy whilst you are there :o
