Considering the waiting lists, I'm not sure exactly how we pulled it off.. but we have managed to get hold of a lovely iCandy Peach Blossom 2 in Black Magic from John Lewis last week. It's fab. As our 'newborn' is now 4 months old we didn't get the carrycot and will wait for him to be old enough to use the lower Blossom seat; in the meantime we're using our Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat. Our 22 month old toddler is enjoying the upper seat.

I'd like to get some kind of footmuff for when the weather turns colder. Could anyone advise which footmuff they've used that has suited the iCandy? I think I heard that the official iCandy ones are a bit low and might not be snuggly enough for winter, is that right?

I have a sheepskin liner that we can use in the upper seat for now, so it's really autumn/winter I'm concerned with.

Thanks for your help, and belated thanks for all the double/tandem puschair recommendations - I lurked and read them all and am very happy so far with the iCandy.

Watching this thread with interest. Just picked up my Strawberry but no baby yet (due today!) so planning on picking up a foot muff for when we move to the pushchair in winter.

I am cheapskate.. I use a couple of little shield ones here the fleece is the cheap kind, the shape is right, the only problem is the harness holes at the shoulder are low. Fine for a smaller child, less so for bigger toddler. They zip up nice and high though or toggle down and sit very well in the seats.
Or what about one of these? You could use it now in the lower seat then remove the wedge when the baby is a bit bigger.

The Smartmuff looks fab! Will def do a bit of Googling on that one. I'd like something that fastens on securely as foot muffs that slide down/off are a pet hate. I had a buggy snuggle on my previous stroller (bugaboo bee) and felt I was always hitching it back up.

I was using stokke newborn wedge in the lower seat of mine, which worked well between 3 and 4 months, the problem with wedging the lower seat on the PB1 being that the baby is now long enough that her feet tuck under the main seat and the toddler bashing around on top wobbles it, I fear she might get them caught. I have taken it out and she just has a little cushion under her bum now. Seems comfortable enough but it's not ideal. The PB2 might be that few cm further apart that you wouldn't have that issue. At least the smart muff is something you can continue to use. And it's cheaper than the actual iCandy ones!

Check the John Lewis own brand ones. They are universal and certainly fit the Apple, so should fit the peach, and the staff should be happy enough to check (if they haven't already).

They have 3 holes for straps to go through and don't slip down.

Much cheaper than the icandy ones.

I'm not familiar with the iCandy you've bought, but we have an iCandy Cherry, & I'm really glad we got the iCandy footmuff. Dd is now 2.3, so it's had plenty of use, but I love it. It lines the entire seat, has a lovely cosy fleece inner, & fits over the back, so no sliding down, & much easier to just wash it as necessary rather than washing the seat fabrics. I haven't found it sits too low at all. Also good that it's shower proof, so no need to get your rain cover out for a small shower. The front apron has an extra bit that folds up, for extra cosiness when it's very cold. Personally, I also like the fact that it matches the fabric of the pushchair! (we have the Fudge colour).
