I could get my Nipper double in my Yaris boot with the wheels off. The new narrower one would be even better.

The Nipper is a lovely pushchair to push. I only sold it as I couldn't get it in my big car (Volvo XC90) when all the seats were in use.

I am a childminder and the Nipper was a delight to use as I could push it with one hand whilst holding the hand of a toddler

Ah just looked it up. Unfortunately the doorway to our house is too narrow to fit a side by side through Sad

I had a Phil and Teds fit in my Fiesta. Also Mamas and Papas Aria Twin.

Not at the same time though.

I reckon a lot of tandems would fit with the wheels off. If you have 05-11 version with the sliding rear bench and have it moved forwards then almost anything fits. But the manual reckons the seats have to be fully back when you have child seats fitted (bother).

Almost nothing fitted in my Yaris with the seats fully back without removing wheels. Umbrella folds obviously fine but anything else was too wide. An umbrella fold tandem will be too long, side by side won't fit in your door. A tandem something that dismantles fairly easily sounds like the order of the day.

Would an icandy peach fit in?

I've had similar and managed to fit a quinny in mine.

Thanks I hate parties. Hmmm. Can't afford new car. Really don't want to dismantle every time. May just refuse to leave walkable area unless dh with me and then use our single and a sling.

Hate parties? Where did that come from? I think I meant to say I'm stuck what to do. Blimmin auto correct

A peach would fit in wheels off or parcel shelf off. But there's plenty of dismantling there. Taking parcel shelf off obviously helps with anything you're trying to wedge in. I never want to cos I'm too totally paranoid about things flying out and hitting people in an accident after the car seat fitting man told me about a man who got knocked out by his own pound piece safety conscious.

Trying to think of things with 1 piece fold.. There might be something where you can get away with taking off only one wheel. The b dual is def too big, I had a hauck duett in but had to take that apart into a million bits. A P and T might go in pretty much intact. Do they fold with the lower seat on?

Yellow, have you checked the new slimmer Nipper cms? The old Nipper is wide.
I don't know when you need a double for but the new Phil&Teds Dot may be of interest. Its smaller and narrower than the current Explorer. I believe the doubles kit will still need removing but dont quote me on that! The Verve folds in one piece but its a huge chunk of a pushchair then to lift. Have a look also at the Micralite Twofold.

Thanks - not due until dec but doing research now. Will mesure our doorway but tbh the maclaren techno xlr we have only just fits through now and because the hallway very narrow it also has to be able to make the turn into the living room where it is stored.

A friend at twins club I go to to has a yaris and a Bugaboo Donkey. You can convert (very quickly and easily) to single to fit round corner and in boot.
