can I ask for bugaboo experts advice please.

So I have a frog, I absolutely adore it, but mainly for looks it needs new front wheels, and I want recaro or maxi cosi (got to check the car out first) car seat adaptors. Ebay lists these parts as cam/gecko and frog, amazon etc just sayes cameleon.

So what I'm asking is are they interchangable?

And also I'm getting a new mattress for the carrycot and planning to use it instead of a moses basket how long realistically do babys fit in the bug carrycot? If its anything to go by my big dcs were 6lb3 and 7lb6 dc3 due december.

So if any of that makes sense thanks in advance :)

Yes the cam car seat adaptors fit the frog.

Hmm depends how tall your baby is but I would think at least 4 months and an average baby 6 months.

YOu can get replacement made to measure mattresses off ebay.

I have a Frog too and tbh am amazed at how quickly dd has outgrown the carrycot. She is 9 weeks old and I've just had to change to the seat unit, fully reclined, as she was just so unhappy and squished looking. She's much happier in it now. She is a bit of a giant baby though and really we only use the Bug for quick trips now, she's mainly in the sling.
As for the adapters, as far as I know they're all interchangeable, as I ordered new ones from Mothercare, and they no longer sell the Frog. They fit fine.

Thunder ebay do them, pretty cheap, sure it was £11, which suprised me as that's the price of normal ones iyswim I expected a price hike for bugaboo.

Most official places say cam only because frog and gecko aren't sold new anymore. Iirc, cam wheels and car seat adapters will fit frog fine. I had frog wheels on my cam at one point as they were cheaper second hand and I was skint.
