Anyone taken Phil & Teds on a plane without the rather expensive travel bag, am slightly concerned as the only way to keep it folded seems to be with string?

Not a phil and teds but have travelled loads with our I candy peach. We just got it wrapped in plastic at the airport, it was about £5 from thr UAE but more expensive flying home from London. Definitely worth it though, no scratches and the pram all in one piece at the end of the trip.

cheers, whats a UAE and do you think they have 1 at Bristol?

Sorry I ment it was cheaper at the airport in the middle east than it was in the uk. UAE stand for united Arab emirates which is where we fly from to come home to the uk. I think most airports offer the cling wrap service now. Maybe you could call te airport or check on the web site

My P and T spent a year in the loft (wheels off)in one of those chinese storage bags you buy in the market .If I was flying I'd stick it in the bag wheels off and wrapped and then wrap a load of tape round the whole lot.

cheers, it seems P&T is so old that the wheels don't quick release on the back!

You can pick up a travel bag cheaply on eBay... I have one and it does make it easy to carry. Its a tight fit into the bag, so you will need those pesky wheels off :)
