I'm thinking about buying a second hand pram for my first newborn. Money is tight, so I need tips about prams.

I drive alot now, but when I'm on mat leave I'll have to cut my desiel bill. I live in a semi rural place.

Mountain buggy if the finances will stretch to it. Will be great for rural or semi rural.

Sorry dashing, think under £200.
They look wonderful, I bet they are a dream to push. What are your words of advice?

I had a Britax Vigour 3+ (and others inc p&t)

Seriously look into this buggy it is BRILLIANT!!

Good value for money
Sturdy
Lightweight
Easy to use (and explain to DM to use!)
Good off road (used to run with mine)
Good shopping basket
Looks good
Car seat attachment comes on and off so easily really good for sleeping babies.
Easy to fit car seat in car.

Can you really not get a second hand one under £200? [shocked]. Sorry.

I got through several different makes before I got it. All I would say is don't get anything with supermarket type wheels in rural or coastal areas. I think Mothercare do a similar thing but not sure, I haven't needed to look lately.

The mountain buggy is indeed a dream to push but I probably shouldn't be saying that. Blush
