Where do people get those lovely sheepskins for prams/ pushchairs? Do they have to be a special baby type? And how do you wash them? Thanks.

Hi, I've seen them in mothercare for around £50 .

I saw a lady with one in GP surgery recently ( in her pram!) and regret not asking her where she got it, cleaning etc.

I don't think they have to be a special baby one, you could get a cheap one from Ikea and put holes in it! My friend lines her Moses basket with the ikea one.

I got a cheap one off amazon and got given the £50 one as a gift from mothercare. I have to say, the mothercare one just goes straight in the washing machine and comes up like new whereas I've shrunk the other giving it the same treatment Blush

Try gabe & grace online, you can cut your own slits for the harness. They do have to be special baby ones as normal ones are tanned using formaldehyde which gives off toxic fumes

John Lewis do some nice lambs wool ones. Not entirely convinced that they keep cool in warm weather though.

John Lewis too-really wasn't sure about getting one as thought it was quite pricey, but can now say it was money well spent!

I keep considering buying the short and curly grey Ikea one and cutting it to shape, but have never done it. They're only £20 and I have one as a rug which I love. I've machine washed it (without any cleaning or conditioning products) and it has come out absolutely perfect.

Thanks everyone. I'll check out the John Lewis ones. People are asking what I 'need' for DC2 so I might suggest one.
