2nd pushchair - 3 or 4 wheels?

I'm very happy with my 3 wheeler off road travel system but i'd like a 2nd pushchair for holidays, quick trips into town etc that is small and compact when folded and folds into one piece.
I love the BJCM but as I'm going to buy 2nd hand, a 3 wheeler is more realistic budget wise, so I've also considered a britax agile or mobile (need a good basket, too).

But what is better for my needs, 3 or 4 wheels? I've heard 3 wheels are more unstable but I've not really found my 3 wheeler much of a problem, but then it is a very sturdy model!

I'm finding this pushchair thing a minefield and I'm trying not to make a mistake with this one (already have a Luna, too, which I'm not too happy with, so that's going to part fund this next one). so any recommendations are appreciated

The BJCM is a 3 or 4 wheeler. I am sure you can find a second hand BJCM3 for a good price on Ebay. The B-Agile is good too. Have a look at this to help you decide which. The 4 wheel version is a little more stable, but I have also had 2x3wheel versions and they were fine if you dont use a car seat on. I think both of these pushchairs are great.

I don't know why, but I thought that you were asking about two wheeler pushchairs. I thought "Wow, that would be cool" then clicked on the thread and realised I was being spectacularly dumb Blush

I have a 4 wheeler, but need to get a triple pushchair in the next few months so I think I'll have to get a 6 wheeler Sad

There are a few 2 wheel pushchair options to be fair ;) The Bugaboo Cameleon and Donkey both have 2 wheel modes, as does the old style Phil&Teds Smart.

LOL re needing a triple pushchair with 6 wheels. There's a couple of 3 and 4 wheeler triples out there :)
