Pushchair for holiday
PinkFondantFancy · 06/06/2012 09:16
Hi all
I need a pushchair for my almost 9 month DD that's suitable for going on holiday (I have a Stokke xplory for day to day). It needs to:
- fold up small
- be tall enough so my husband (6'2) and I (5'9) can push it comfortably
- recline enough for DD to nap in as she only naps in the pram...Â
Thanks v much!Â

We borrowed an O'baby sport and had no problems with it. Not sure about height though, I'm short

We have two OBaby Atlas pushchairs for holidays with our twins.
I am pretty sure they're the cheapest lie-flat umbrella fold buggies out there. We've done several holidays on planes and they've been great. Babies have gone to sleep in them in the evening so we can take them out for dinner asleep and have our dinner in peace :)
There are lots of other lie-flat umbrella folds out there, including about a zillions different McLarens, but I didn't want to spend £££ on holiday buggies when I'm happy with our current day-to-day buggies.
Have a great holiday :)

Ooh that Atlas looks fab! Are the handles tall enough so that I won't have to hunch though?

Zeta Vooom has high handles. I use it as my holiday stroller (am 5'9") and would recommend it. Great hood too.

I got a maclaren xt 2nd hand off gumtree. £35 when they sell new for about £190! It folds ok, lies flat and you can adjust the handles a bit.

I bought a cosatto new on ebay, the swift lite i think, to go on holiday when dd1 was 3 months old and it's still going strong two years on. Good value for money, very light so ended up using it a lot at home to.
