Parasol or sunshade?

I need help from all you pushchair experts! I have a Britax B-Smart for my newborn and normally use it with the carrycot, sometimes the car seat.I Have realised with this sunny weather that I need some sort of sun protection, especially when using the car seat. I've looked at parasols but they seem to come with mixed reviews and look like a bit of a faff. Would a sunshade thingy be better? Do they tend to fit over car seats and be universal in what types of push chairs they fit? I'm also a bit worried that baby would get too hot underneath it? Any advice/experiences gratefully received before I waste any money!

I would get a sunshade TBH. Parasols are a complete pain unless you are static ie in the garden. Everytime you turn a corner they need adjusting, plus they get in the way of your view of where you are going! I wouldn't worry about the baby getting hot. Most are mesh or allow for ventilation. You will probably need a different sun canopy for the car seat to the carrycot.
