Pushchairs

Compact, rear facing, suitable from birth and not *too* expensive - is there such a thing pushchair experts?

Could do with something of this nature to take on a holiday and probably use afterwards if suitable.

Need to transport a not quite 3 month old around and would much prefer him rear facing, even if it's only for a week.

Ideas much appreciated, thanks!

A second hand Loola? You can get the cheapish on ebay.

Maxi Cosi streety, although this doesn't have massively good reviews.

M&P pliko pramette, if he won't mind being in the pramette part as it doesn't rear face in normal pushchair mode, these can be picked up cheap second hand, see also the Silver Cross 3d.

M&P Sola too, second hand around the £100 mark.

I think if you want new it will be at least £200. They have a Maxi Cosi elea in red on kiddicare atm for around this price. Compact fold. They also have Britax B smarts for a similar price.

Hth.

These will be the cheapest options I think, well if you're ok with second hand.

i had looked at the B smart offers actually, not actually absorbed how small they fold!

having a 6 week old and his big brother to keep entertained and fed is seriously eating into my mumsnet and other internet mucking about time...

will have a nose at the others too, thanks. :)

Not sure about the fold with the seat on, without the seat is quite small. The elea folds smallish with the seat unit, well in forward facing mode, but its not tricky to change it round.

There's review vids for the britax and elea on YouTube, it shows the folds. If you get a minute that is!

I've thought of another too, the icandy cherry often comes up on ebay at a reasonable price.

You can also get an original Bugaboo Bee for £150-200ish if you're lucky, try gumtree. Folds small even when rear facing and good resale value. I sold mine for the amount I paid after six months.

The Loola folds withthe seat on in rear facing mode and then stands up on its end so is small to store.

I love the Loola (though the Loola Up is better as it has a bar rather than two handles).

They go for £60 ish on eBay :)
