Hi - my ds is almost 2 but not so good at walking so we definitely need a pushchair for a while longer.

Up till now we've had a bugaboo bee but I was wondering about getting something like a macclaren which was a bit lighter.

Does anyone have any recommendations? If possible I'd like it to come with (or have available to buy) a raincover, sunshade and a basket underneath.

Also do pushchairs ever have backward facing options or is that just a no once they get to toddler stage??

TIA!!

Ah wow thank you - so they do exist. You're right a bit expensive though - and it says july delivery and I kind of need it now.

The Bee is actually a light pushchair at 8.5kg. One worth a look is a Micralite Superlite at 6kg I think which is supposed to be really good for older toddlers. The hood isn't good but you can get sunshades that attach to the hood to make it bigger.

Quinny Zapp Xtra is reversible?

This is a good reduction if your local Argos have it, don't know if any good though

Wow! I came on here to ask this very same question and I think I'm pretty sold on the First Years one!! What a fab discount, it says it's suitable for toddlers up to 22.5kg too so should have plenty of growing space for my little lad.

Thanks Safmellow :)

Hmm, it is unsurprisingly sold out within a 50mile radius of my house Hmm

I wouldn't worry about it being sold out, by all accounts they're rubbish! :o

Re the Zapp Xtra, it doesn't sit upright when facing you so wouldn't be great for a 2 year old unless it's used facing forward.
