britax car seat and bugaboo base

Hello, my baby loves his britax rock a tot car seat and hates his bugaboo frog pram. I think he likes being more upright... As far as I can tell there's no way of attaching britax to bugaboo base so wondering what to do? Anyone got any ideas? I guess I could buy a maxi cosi seat as these attach to the bugaboo base. I guess you can get sun shades and rain covers for these? He is 11 weeks so not sitting up yet but I'm also wondering when I will need to change to a more upright style buggy anyway? thanks for any advice for a first time mum getting hot wearing the sling all the time in the sun!

You should really only be using a carseat for a maximum of 2 hours at a time. Babies are supposed to lie flat (a maximum of 15° from horizontal is the UK standard) until they're 6 months when they can go into a more upright position. This is to keep their airways open properly while their necks aren't very strong.

At the moment, there are no adapters to fit a Britax carseat to a Frog. There are plans to bring out Britax adapters, but probably too late for you by the time they're in shops.

I don't really know what to suggest to be honest. Does he never like lying flat or is it just in the pram? Or does he like the feeling of being strapped in? In which case you could try adding a harness to the carrycot and see if he seems happier.
