Emmaljunga City Cross - anyone got one?

This has now joined our 'maybe this is The One' spreadsheet and is looking like a goer but I can't find any reviews or even find one IRL.
I really like the Edge or the Mondial and the City Cross seems similar but 4kg lighter which seems like a good idea when you've got to push down on the thing to get it round corners (which is my biggest worry about the damn thing, maneuverability) and also getting it in and out of cars etc.
Has anyone got one that they can tell me how fabulous/not fabulous it is?

Probably no help but if you're concerned about manoeuvrability then the City Nitro springs to mind with the swivel wheels at the front... Or the other one. Ozone is it?

According to other threads i have come across on MN about emmaljunga's is that they are seen as chavvy prams, thats not my own opinion BTW so you might not get many replies about it. Also im not a chav and i dont have an emmaljunga pram, hope this helps. Grin

Oh dear. I haven't seen them. And having just used the search function I can only see threads referring to white leatherette, which I hadn't planned on getting.
Every other review I've seen on Emmaljunga's are that they're really well built and lovely :(
Nothing else seems to come close to suiting my requirements (lie flat, large carrycot, wheels suitable for all terrain and long walks, rear and forward facing, can put car seat on for short periods of time, toddler seat attachment)
I also appreciate the fact they're not made in China.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Apart from the toddler seat attachment I think there will be other things that suit your requirements. Do you feel that 4 large wheels is a deal breaker? If so you are definitely more limited. I don't think they're chavvy but there are some pretty um, special colour schemes. Another mum at our school has one and she never seems to be having any difficult manoeuvring it. Out of the people I know who have had them no one has complained about them but neither have they kept using them beyond the first year.

Have you come across the Uppababy Vista on your searches, this gets rave reviews and does also have a toddler seat attachment.

Hi

I have the emaljunga city nitro (swivel wheels one) and I love it! It has been over lots of different terrain with no problem as you can change the handle direction. It is bigger than some prams but the children were always really comfortable. I can steer it with one hand, which I can't with my other pram. It is really sturdy, and I have no knowledge of it being chavvy. Generally people stop me to ask where I got it from. Hope this helps.
