Twin pushchair to fit maxi cosi cabriofix car seats

Hi, I'm having twins in October and would like to use DS's old maxi cosi and buy another MC car seat to save money. I really want the option to attach the car seats to a buggy - its so much easier when you're just nipping out and also DS hated going out lying flat in his carry cot when he was tiny. I know they can't stay in car seats for too long but think this will really help me get out of the house even if its just for a half hour stroll. I'd like an inline one if possible as I already have a tandem mountain buggy for when they're a bit older (unfortunately this won't take car seats as its an old model I got 2nd hand. Thanks

Have a look at the iCandy Peach Blossom, iCandy Pear, Baby Jogger City Select and Kolcraft Contours, I think the Peach or BJCS are the quickes to use though.

how much are you looking to spend. the i.candy pear can take maxi cosi cs with adaptors and you can pick these up on ebay, im just about to list mine as my mum has kindly brought me a new pushchair, you'll be looking around £300 im selling mine for £400 as it comes with carrycots and both sets of adaptors. the frame is the size of a single pushchair :)

You could also look at a Britax B-Dual. If you buy Oyster Maxi Cosi adapters then you can put the MC carseat on the top. Then buy a Britax carseat for the lower position. Both seats lie flat so it's suitable from birth and the basket is massive so great for what you'll need with you for two children.

Just make sure the MC baby seat was made less than 5y ago (should have a date stamped on the plastic shell). MC have a 5 year expiry on their baby seats due to the degradation of the plastics/wear and tear to harness etc.

If you find that the MC seat has expired then you can get any seats you like and that opens you up to a bit more choice (or less bits of plastic to lose in the boot if they need car seat adapters Wink)
