OutnAbout Nipper V1 Can you machine wash the fabric?

If it can be removed, I've not had a proper look yet. I got it off Ebay and it could do with a clean. If it can't be machine washed how is the best way to clean it? Thanks.

The fabrics can be removed, but not machine washed as the seat fabric has a metal u shaped edge to it, and the hood also has a support sewn into it.

I have washed my nipper fabrics by taking them off the frame and soaking them in the bath for a couple of hours and then giving them a good scrub with a scrubbing brush. Putting them back on is a bit fiddly though.

You can also wash the covers on the frame (but I don't think you can give them as good a clean that way) using a bowl of water and a scrubbing brush. And then rinse off using a hose.

I use a mix of biological washing powder and napisan, and then rinse very well.

That's brilliant, thank you. Napisan is great stuff. I'll get it sorted this aft. I don't think you can clean things well in situ either.
