Maxi cosi car seat on lower part of Britax b dual tandem?

Hi

Does anybody know if you can use the maxi cosi car seat on the bottom part of the britax b dual tandem? I know I've read that you can use it on the top part with oyster maxi cosi adaptors but need to know if I can attach it to the lower frame while my toddler sits in main seat?

Would be grateful for any help/advice. Thanks

My feeling is that they will fit, but I don't know how stable they would be.

I agree. I dont see why they wouldn't fit. But raising the level of the seat may well cause instability? Plus you may knock your knees on the seat??

I've just dug out the instructions that came with the B Dual. The written instructions and numbering on the picture is the same for how to attach the car seat into the slots whether its in the top or bottom position which suggests that the bit it slots into is the same. Therefore, I would have thought the Oyster adaptors would work in both positions. However, as the slots for the rear seat already stick out and up from the frame, the extra height which the Oyster adaptors would add would, I would have thought, made it more unstable.
