P&T Promenade or Bugaboo Bee?

Does anyone have any experiences with the Phil & Teds Promenade or the Bugaboo Bee? I was pretty much sold on the Bee but DH and justpointed out the Promenade and now I'm torn again. I like that with the Promenade I have the option of adding a doubles kit if DS (2.8) rebels against the buggy board.

From what I am hearing the Promenade isn't that good for older children, and you can feel a long way from the child. Personally I would stick with the Bee. I would never choose the Promenade as a single.

Promenade.. Bee... such entirely different beasts I don't think there's any comparison. The Promenade feels about twice the size of a bee, I can't see it being used as a single unless you have lots and lots of space both in the house and in the places that you will take it. Hmmm, the concept however of having a true single with a optional second seat or buggyboard is one I'm on board with but haven't found anything that really meets that criteria yet. Maybe the Peach Blossom 2 does, the Jane Twone might, MB +one?

Thanks for the input. I will go and have a good look in a proper shop before making up my mind - I'm sure there's something I've missed - but I think we'll probably end up with the Bee.

I think as Hypatia says you have chosen two pushchairs that really are at opposite ends of the spectrum with everything else in between. I would take a look at some of the fab pushchairs in between too :D
