BJCM or Uppababy G luxe

Some wise words required please.
I am looking for a second buggy, to be used for holidays and for my mum when she minds DS. I have an uppababy vista and love it, but its massive.
It needs to be lightweight but also be able to handle the occasional roughish path.
I love the look of the new G Luxe but nowhere local stocks it so would be ordering from internet. I have found a Baby jogger city mini for sale second hand for a similar price as the g lux.
What to do?

I would get the BJCM personally. You may even end up using it more than your Vista ;)

Tiggywunkle, I bought the BJCM and its super. I LOVE it. Its so handy and the fold is so easy and it fits in my car boot in one piece so no more messing about in the rain taking the uppababy apart. I think I now have a town pram and an off road/country one. Thank you!

I would have suggested the BJCM too - I love mine, so easy to fold and unfold, and lightweight to push around. The only thing I would suggest is to get some of those hooks that velcro onto the handle for carrying bags, as the basket isn't huge.

yes, they would be great CTJ. It the other tiny little annoyance with it is that the basket is quite small and kinda hard to get anything in or out of. Hooks would help with all the shopping. Thanks

The asker TBH isn't that small. But access on the older versions isn't that good. But the new GT basket is elasticised at the sides and it makes access a lot easier. It may be worth a phone call to a stockist or Kootrade to see if the regular 2012 BJCM basket is also now like this and consider buying one. But that will bump the price up.
