I am going to be having my first baby soon and I'm ashamed to say that I have NO idea when it comes to prams/carseats etc.

I like the look of the Bugaboo Chameleon but need educating- desperately!

can any of it be used as a car seat? If not, what have owners gone for?

I apologise for my lack on knowledge ;)

I do not have one, but this website is great for reviews:

www.bestbuggy.co.uk/category/single/bugaboo-cameleon/

It says it uses a Maxi Cosi Cabriofix or Pebble. I recommend the Cabriofix as there really isn't much difference between them and it is cheaper.

At Boots they come in a range of colours and cost £104.99, however if you buy it today and use the discount code: "CAR5347" you get 10% off which brings the price down to £94.99. Or, if you do not want to buy it today you can get it from Amazon for £99.99.

Hi. I have a cameleon. It's great. I have the maxi cosi cabrio fix and adapters.

I loved my Cameleon and am contemplating another this autumn. I loved it. I have had many other pushchairs and whilst there are a couple I think are better, I rate the Cameleon as one of the best. It pushes beautifully. I loved the flip handle, having the seat as an impromptu highchairs, the fabrics, the quality, the customisation, the off road option. The basket is one niggle though. It's hard to get into in carrycot mode and you end up fishing around for stuff. But I did like being able to leave things in it. The fold takes a bit of getting used to, but if you read the instructions then you won't go wrong. Also, I didn't like my LO having their head on the hod fabric, even when they were tiny. I don't think you can go far wrong with a Cameleon to be honest.
