BJCM 4 with Baby Jogger Board - my review!

Hi I know a lot of people often wonder about Buggy Boards and I just wanted to share my experience of the Baby Jogger board with my BJCM in the hope it might help someone!

The board is soooooo easy to fit - it litterally snaps onto the bar and then has some ties to slip through and is just as quick to remove as well.

I use the board on the shortest setting as my DS likes to put his head up and under the handlebar and he really loves the board (he is 4yo).

It easily flips up/down if not in use/when required again.

I do not know if it fits any other pushchairs (I know it definitely doens't fit the nipper 360 as the parts where you attach are wider than the bar than you fit to :() - however if it does physically fit others it would be so easy to swap it.

My experience of the BJCM is that the BJ board works really well with it!

hi im thinking of getting this pram and poss the buggy board, can you walk directly behind the pram and push easily with the board down? I have a bugaboo chamelion at mo and with ds on the buggy board you have to walk at the side and push which is annoying! thanks

It is good there is a short setting and that your son can get his head through the handlebar gap. I would be interested in knowing how easily you manage to walk too.

TBH I do tend to walk slightly to the side using a one handed push but I do even when the board isn't in use as the handle is a little high for me (at 5'2") so I can't honestly say at the moment if the board makes it necessary or it's what I do anyway.

I will be using it again at the weekend and will come back and let you know.

Incidentally for my husband (6'0") he walks behind it absolutely fine.

Maybe when the versa is out the height problem with the handlebar will allow you to walk straight behind? I find that the only problem with the BJCM is the handlebar is quite high for me.
