Lightweight slim buggy for travelling

We are going on holiday and need a very lightweight umbrella fold buggy for travelling on the train. I need to be able to deal with energetic toddler in one hand, a bag and the buggy, so many ones I have seen in 2nd hand shops have big double wheels.

I will be buying second (or third) hand because in day to day life I use my sling and we have big iCandy but I'm not taking that across London!

thank you :)

I'd really recommend the maxi cosi Noa. It's not an umbrella fold but you can fold it easily with one hand and it fresstands when folded. It has a handle to pull it along when folded, and has a good recline.

I have the silver cross fizz, its so light, has a carry strap and are available to buy on ebay, try gumtree and pushchair trader too

So many to choose from, aren't there?
How about the Maclaren Triumph or Volo? Of course, it depends what you mean by light.

There's the Silver Cross Zest at 6.5kg. Has good hood, adjustable leg and back rests as well.
The Silver Cross Fizz Vogue had a pop-out sun-visor.

I second the Maxi Cosi Noa. Its one of the most useful little pushchairs there is.

Thanks everyone, finally got a chance to try out some buggies today and the silver cross fizz worked well for both DH and I. DH has seen some biggies on the asda online site and he is going to try them with DD tomorrow. It is only a run around for the times when the candy is too big or DH won't u se the sling.

Thanks again!
