It looks like a car seat on a frame, but a bigger one than we get here. Sorry, can't help on the exact make!

That I don't know I'm afraid (I'm not in UK). I've seen a lot of them as they are "given away" by a particular hospital here when you have a baby with them - to be honest I'd say it's a great idea but the actual thing is massive and pretty heavy. My neighbour has one and I don't think she's ever used it. I see a lot of them being sold unused here so I'd imagine that they aren't as useful as they sound. I've seen them in America (and those with older DCs might have seen one on Good Luck Charlie LOL!), but never in the UK. Fab idea if you travel a lot!
