Footmuffs. Talk to me.

I have the iCandy Peach and have just put DS (4mo) in the seat today for the first time! We did fine with the liner it came with and some blankets but was wondering whether I need a footmuff? Having read round the site it seems universal footmuffs don't really fit the Peach, but with summer coming I'm not sure I really need one anyway. So tell me about footmuffs in general and Peach in particular, please! TIA.

The Peach footmuff comes up quite low at the front, and doesn't have much foot room for toddlers with shoes on. But the advantage is that it zips in and so doesn't slide around. I found that the Quinny footmuff fitted really well and didn't slide. I use Buggysnuggles simply because I have an older toddler who doesn't fit in the Quinny one, but they have been a real pain because I have to unzip the hood to get them to stay on, and I have been forever putting the Buggysnuggles on and off. I think the best answer is probably to get a custom footmuff made. You will need one next summer anyway, so I would order now whilst its quieter - there are usually long waiting lists in autumn. But if you are happy with blankets then thats fine! But as your LO gets older you may find they kick them off. I would get a footmuff made TBH.

I have been wondering the same thing. I have the peach blossom and haven't bought a footmuff yet. The iCandy one is too small for my 22mo but she will usually kick away a blanket. Where is the best place to order a custom made footmuff?
