Cheap airport friendly recommendations needed!!

Hi

As above really i have a city mini which im not willing to have trashed through airport handling and so need something cheap and cheerful without looking like it'll fall apart if a fly so much as lands on it.

Any suggestions?

Next time we fly home (to Scotland) he'll be 5 months and am going without DH so too much with case, hand luggage and LO in a sling/carrier.

How about this...This

I have flown roughly every 6 weeks from my 6 yr old being 4 weeks and swear by a maclaren (had to get the xt as she was newborn) and a connecta sling. Travelled alone most of the time and never had a problem. Through the airport is fine with pushchair and then put LO in sling before you collapse pram at the gate. At the other end i just kept LO in sling and put my puchchair on the trolley with my case. I think any umberella or lightweight stroller would do.
