Bugaboo Bee for Newborn??

Got a Bee (not +) for dd1 when she was 6 months. Loved it.

Bought an iCandy Pear for when dd2 arrived. Its fine as a single chair for dd1 or for both of them but on the day when I have just dd2 (6 weeks) it is rubbish. Looks peculiar with just carrycot so I have it with an empty toddler chair making it enormous for no reason.

Could do with a little pushchair for outing planned this weds.

Can i use the bee reclined for a newborn without buying a cocoon? How long will the cocoon last for if I do need it?

Where can I order one from that will deliver it in time for weds if so?!

You probably could use it without a cocoon in the lie flat position but would prob need head guard and something to snuggle baby in. I did this with a maclaren xt with dd1 from birth and was fine.

The cocoon is very cozy and you can always eBay it- reckon it will last til dd at least 6 months.
Will John Lewis not do next day delivery (for a price)?

I would get the cocoon too. Also the Bee doesn't really lie flat and the cocoon is slightly wedge shaped underneath to flatten it out. Our cocoon lasted ten months and my son was big.
