Help me decide - upgrade peach to a blossom or sell the lot and buy something else?!

Hello, am hoping that peach blossom users can help me - how much do you love it?! I know that there is a new version coming out, but with DS due in June, need to get this sorted and frankly, don't trust that icandy are going to have stock ready to wait for the new version and deal with modifications to existing chasis.

So, if I convert to the blossom, its going to cost me about 450 for all the bits (converter and new carrycot/muff). Would you go for that, or would you sell the single peach and buy something different entirely! I am a bit concerned that the seats are small on this and we do seem to have long children - has the size really been a problem for anyone?

If you sold your peach and bought something else, what?!

Many thanks for your help, appear to have baby brain when it comes to making a decision on this!! thanks

Honestly, I would wait. If you buy a Peach Blossom 2 in Black Magic and order from John Lewis as soon as they will let you, then there's a high probability you should have it before June. But don't quote me on it!

I bought the original Peach Blossom and realised instantly it wouldn't work (it would have been better if I had realised in the shop). I preordered a Baby Jogger City Select the same day. Meanwhile I publicly complained about the Peach Blossom, and iCandy listened and its partly as a result of my feedback, and other people's that I have the Peach Blossom 2 now. What I haven't said is that whilst the BJCS was fab to start with, it became unbearably heavy and I had to sell it when my baby was 10 months old because it was hurting my arms to push. Whereas the Peach Blossom 2 is still going strong 10 months after I stopped using the BJCS. The currently Peach Blossom I estimated would have lasted approx 12 months - until my son wanted to sit up and see the world. My 3.5 year old is still in our Peach seat and I have had older children in. The hood slides up the chassis, and the liner removes as the children grow leaving lots of room. My only issue now with my eldest is that she could do with a longer footrest now, but TBH she prefers dangling her feet anyway. This shows how the Peach seat "grows"

The other pushchair which really interests me at present that should be out before your due date is the Jane Twone. But TBH I would wait and see what happens with the Peach first.

thanks Tiggywunkle I guess I just feel disappointed that I'll be spending a lot on a pushchair - which won't match and if i go with the existing converter, it will not last size wise.

I just need to work out how to get the kit over from the states i guess, understand they have the new blackjack! If anyone can pm me if they've had any success!! I guess I'd then just need to know how to get the basket extension done.
