arrrgh am sick of deciding, have not found perfect buggy, well I have, it was double nipper but.....don't need one all the time, v handy some days though, should I get another, and a cheap but decent stroller eg mac quest new model for quick trips.....both girls walk alot....before am flamed!!! They are just four and now 20 months. Do longish days out though, have zero help day to day, that's fine....but dd1 although 4 still gets tired/bored of trailing around after me on occasion! Could see return to double nipper being lovely! Could envisage both girls harmoniously sitting in or walking together as they so choose!! They do get on very well and want to nurture this before sept and school.....don't worry dd1 will be able to do school walk, prob even get home on foot if we get school we are nearest to. Dd 2 will not manage this twice a day. They could both stay dry and me less wet if it pours and I get and keep the double nipper.... Or should I just blow budget on decent single eg mountain buggy swift? I need a high weight limit! That's also why like nipper double, high weight for each seat.....help!!! Would easily be able to sell the double nipper come autumn and get a single for dd2 while dd1 scoots too and from school with us......had horrendous weekend with cheap chicco buggy and lascal....
It tipped, they fought over seat, or board, we had bags of shopping, not much but seems a lot when also two kids and kit! And dh was wit me!!! By the end no one was in buggy or on board but both wanted shoulder rides or carry, we were in busy areas.........they would however both have sat together, this I know. saw a lovely mummy with a double nipper and it looked so nice I nearly ran after her and grabbed it as my two whinges and lolled about my feet! And they are very good girls, sociable, strong walkers etc etc, but you wouldn't think it to look at us then! All they wanted was a sit down. Arrrgh

I feel your pain!! LOL I have a 3.5 year old who is usually as good as gold when on her own and will walk for hours if necessary. But then all of a sudden she will have melt down over the slightest thing, or tiredness will kick in, and all I want to do is to put her in a pushchair and to go. We also live on a main road and I dont trust her enough at present - she tried to bolt today on me outside a shop (and failed). But I have just bought myself a Bugaboo Donkey for the summer - a bit like you - just to really see us through so we can all enjoy the summer stress free. Complete friviolity - yes - but if you think you need a Nipper to get you through until the autumn, then do it if it makes life easier for you. Buy well and you should get your money back in the autumn to buy something new and shiny in single mode. If your budget was a little higher, there's no doubt I would be highly recommending the Mountain Buggy +One to you because its made for mums like us with an older child who sometimes needs a rest. I love the hidden seat. We love ours.
