I want a pushchair that is an easy peasy one piece fold, that can have a carrycot.

I thought I would use my Bee + with a cocoon but I can't bear the thought of my psb (precious second born) Wink being so exposed like that now he is here. I know I am being silly well Dh thinks so!

I am slightly interested in the Icandy Strawberry, but a bit Shock at the price when you tot it all up especially as the peach is so tempting...

It would have to be as good as the bee + though which is a tall order as it is the pushchair I have kept the longest! And light weight.

I would have to sell my mountain buggy, possibly my summer bee + and I have a bee + chassis. So would hopefully have an ok budget?

City mini with carrycot? I keep trying to find something better (and I tried out the bee!) but nothing beats it.

Oh must be parent facing! I am tempted by the strawberry not that I have seen it yet. The peach is not much more once you have priced it up though :s

Why not MB with carrycot and keep Bee for when babe is a bit older

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 26/03/2012 19:32

I find the Mb too big for around town, I only used it for walks. Also it is girly colours and I have a Ds. This would be a second pushchair, I will be using my Donkey mostly.

The issue with the iCandy's will be finding one. If you can find a shop with them in stock then fab. If you can't, then you could have a considerable wait depending on what you want. I love iCandys though and think they are great. The Babystyle Oyster is also very good but again they have stock issues.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 27/03/2012 15:49

That is true Tiggy! Is there anything else you could recommend? I had a look at the promenade on youtube and like the fold, but not sure... I am having a bit of a love hate thing with the Donkey at the moment, it is heavy! Although it could be postnatal weakness, Ds is 16 days old. So I would consider a double.

Just got the promenade and yep it is heavy but then I'm used to the bee.

I have been using my bee+ with my nearly Three year old for some time now and then the donk in mono before I had the baby. What is the weight in kg for promenade, do you know? Also how large is the seat? 20 questions. Wink

City Mini, one handed folding and assembly, so light to steer. brilliant sun hood, decent on all terrains, compatible with carry cot and maxi cosi car seat.

StrawberryMojito · 28/03/2012 02:37

Baby style oyster?

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 28/03/2012 13:51

City mini isn't parent facing??
I will look in to the oyster, although I had only heard negatives for a long time.

Anything else?

I love the Peach - its my favourite pushchair TBH. But I also like the M&P Urbo because its so simple and easy to use and neat. The iCandy Cherry is a nice pushchair too.
The new Graco Evo looked good at Harrogate plus Graco have a really neat BJCM look alike called the Swiftfold which parent faces but folds like the City Mini, but its not due out for a few months yet. The Easywalker June and the Baby Jogger Versa were both brilliant. But again they are a way off still.
