I cant find any photos of the carrycot on the bjcm , does it look like a pram when attached or does it just kind of strap on top of the pushchair? thanks for any help you can give me as there are no pram shops near me so hoping to buy online.

if I remember well, the soft carrycot goes on top of the pushchair which needs to be in the lie flat position

I have not seen by myself for the hard carry cot but I found this pic online:

Hi

I have 1 and basically you have adaptors to clamp into frame, it lies in it and so isnt the neatest looking system youll ever see but it works in the short term. Although as it has to slot into the frame its really not very wide my lo is 3 months and is a bit big for it width ways but still ok length ways.

First of all there are three carrycots this year. The hard bodied one like the ones in the link to Oliver's Babycare, and then there are the two 'soft' bodied ones the Compact and Compact Plus carrycots. These can either fit as per the Twins Store photo with the fabric on, or in a similar way to the photos of the Kiddicare Sidewalk double, with the fabric off. So lots of choice! The compact plus carrycot is a little larger than the compact and is new for 2012.

I need to qualify what I meant by 'soft' bodied. There's the hard plastic carrycot and the other two are still hard bodied but with fabric on the outside IYKWIM. They are still strong proper carrycots not soft cocoons.

The only thing I can add is that using the hard bodied original carrycot with the adaptors On the mounting bracket make it really hard to see over it. I'm 5ft2 though.

Good point :) I have just been looking at photos because I always thought the compact carrycot would sit higher with it being in the higher mounting brackets, but it isnt. The hood seems to be in line with the handle.
