Buggy board on bugaboo cameleon

KD0706 · 14/03/2012 21:12

I am hoping to avoid buying a double buggy by using a mixture of my cameleon, baby jogger city mini, and two slings/baby carriers. Plus a buggy board for the cameleon.

I have a vague memory that the 'official' bugaboo buggy board is not the best and wondered if anybody has any experience or thoughts on either the bugaboo board or using another generic board on the cameleon?

Thanks.

i have had the bugaboo board and hated it, i have also used a lascal maxi board [not on a cameleon but i am sure they fit] and i found that the best to walk with.

thanks for your recommendation easterb!

I had the bugaboo one and found it terrible, awful, couldn't walk at all with it even with handle at the very most extended. Bought a lascal (maxi) and it was easy peasy. Made the 1 and a quarter walk to preschool and back a breeze.

I also bought a second set of adaptors and could then use the board on another buggy if need be (used it on bee+ and MB swift - both were fab fab fab) Worth every penny and used for 18 months as my poor dd's legs were buckling after a busy morning!!

Was just about to get a buggy board for my cameleon and assumed that the bugaboo one was the one to get- thank you for starting this thread!

Does the Lascal maxi board need any other adaptors to fit the Cameleon or is it ready to go?

Lascal all ready in the box with straps, bit of a phaff getting them on and in the right spot/angle but worth the effort and the strap to hold it out of the way is good, no kicking it!

Thank you easter and carrie looks like the lascal maxi is the way to go.
