Pyster question

Following on from my other post, I'm so tempted to get second hand Oyster for my parents to have at their house.

PLease can I have some opinions on if the pushchair seat will recline suffiently for a 3 month old for occasional use on holiday without taking the carrycot? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

I though buying the first pram would be hard enough, but buying the scond for the grandparents is even harder!!

Thanks

You arent supposed to use the Oyster seat until 6 months, but TBH parent facing is flatter than outward facing and I can't see much difference visually between that and the Bee - except I think the Bee cocoon is wedge shaped at the bottom so flattens the seat out. I certainly would consider the Oyster with a Bugaboo cocoon parent facing. But otherwise the carrycot or car seat for short periods of time.

The Oyster was officially suitable from 3 months this time last year. I wpuld have no hesitation in using it without the car seat. It's a great pushchair and very good value.

My son is huge and outgrew the carrycot way before 6 months so was in the seat a lot sooner than anticipated. I think you would be absolutely fine putting a 3 month old in the seat as it does go pretty flat. I actually think they'd be better in that than in a car seat.
