BJCE

Have just moved DS from carrycot into the main seat unit....emotional moment!

Anyway, feeling very tired and a bit silly....when I fold the buggy using the strap, the fabric and those elasticy side bits seem to bunch up. Is this right or have I done something wrong - it just looks wrong to me.

Also, DS is 4.5months old - how far would you recline the seat or would you just sit it upright. He loves looking around btw.

Thanks

I think they should just bunch up. You can roll the rear piece up neatly and hold it with the toggle? It's one of the advantages of the BJCE ie that the fabric bunches up outside of the seat rather than behind the child's head as with a Mountain Buggy.
I think I would try to leave LO flat if possible...ideally until into 5 months and then I would consider sitting her more upright but you know your baby. Do what you feel is right :)
