Not a huge fan of Bugaboo Bee+, would I be mad to get the Donkey?

As the title says really. I have an 11 mo old son and am pregnant with DS2, due end of July. We currently have the Bee+ which I loved to begin with but gradually fell out with - small wheels, problem with wheel shimmy, just how can you attach the foot muff without the hood falling off (can't button both on).

That aside the Donkey has caught my eye. Am I likely to have the same problems again or have these been ironed out?

If you have a Donkey I'd love to hear whether you get on with it.

To be honest, the two pushchairs are poles apart. The Bee is a very light, pushchair - too light really for me. The Donkey is solid, sturdy, big wheels, great off road with a more supportive seat.
I know the footmuffs have a strange attachment on the Donkey because I think only one side of the harness undoes. But I just used Buggysnuggles and they were fine.

The only thing I will say is that the conversion is a bit of a pain if you do it lots. Its a pushchair that is better left up and converted as little as possible - yes people do convert it several times a day but all the bending down, tugging etc was too much for me. Sometimes it took two of us tugging to get it converted (I dont think it liked the cold). I didnt like that the place where I put my (one) had is on the cold uncovered space in the handlebar. Or that the brake is so hidden under the seat.

But the push is fantastic on it and I loved seeing the children I had a Donkey on loan and liked it enough to have just ordered one for us (even though DD is 3.5 years old!! Its my last chance!).

No idea about the donkey I'm afraid, but if you're having problems with wheel shimmy on the bee+, have you been given the new front wheels? If not then it would be worth getting in touch with bugaboo or the retailer to get that sorted.
