BabyJogger city mini or Micro double

Hi,
Have just purchased a twin micro by babyjogger new on ebay but I can't seem to find much info on the micro.
Is it the same as the mini or not?

It also says it is designed for sidewalks/shopping malls even terrain rather than rough terrain which is fine for me but I wondered why they would put this in the advert.
Can anyone give me any more info on this?
Seems all the reviews on it are from the US

no, it's not the same as the mini.

the mini has larger wheels and the seats fully recline, where the micro only has a very small recline

still a nice buggy though!

And the mini has a 3 fold hood, the micro has a 2 fold hood. The Micro also weighs a tiny bit more because it's made from a heavier metal.

Just to add, there have been additional changes to the mini in 2011. For some reason I always compare the micro with the older version mini. In 2011 the double hoods were separated to take carrycots and theatre sit upright strap and e board were added. The baskets are different too and there's a lot more optional safety straps on the 2011. But in a nutshell the differences are those above this post.

Thanks Tiggy. We live in London so public transport, shops and busy streets were what was on my mind with a few trips to the park. Although if using the buses I would try and use the single if possible.

The colour was ocean blue though for this sale and I have two girl. I have bought two flowery liners for it (which I hope will fit!) to make it girly so hope it will be ok.
I have a nearly six month old and a 2.4 year old who has walked everywhere for the past few months but thought with summer coming up and me trying to lose some weight.... (just walking!!)

All in all, I saw it and grabbed it before doing too much research. I had also looked at the o baby xi tandem, red kite twin and baby weavers twin. I think it weighs less than these though and hopefully is a better buggy.

I think you'll like it. I had the single micro and really loved it.
The mini is, technically, a nicer pushchair with a better recline, more padded seats etc, but the micro is still a great buy

don't buy into the gender stereotypes, blue is fine for girls :-D
