Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this? Is it a good system?

How does the car seat fix into the car? Do you need to buy a base for it, or does it clip in another way? Can't really make sense of it.

I had one for dd.

Pros: it's reasonably priced, easy to fold, very cosy with the liner and cosy toes, nice to push, the car seat is easy to fit in the pushchair, and with the base in the car takes seconds to fit (you don't need the base but it makes life much easier!)

Cons: it's very long when folded - it just about fit in my Clio but when it was in I couldn't fit much else in, I regretted not having a true 'pram' with a carrycot, it doesn't turn parent facing unless the baby is in the carseat - I didn't like leaving her in the carseat for more than a quick trip around the shops or something, with the carseat on its also quite heavy.

We sold ours to buy something more compact after about a year, I'm pregnant now and looking at the Hauck Eagle which doesn't cost much more and has a pram option and turns rear facing, might be worth a look for you?

I had one. Basically fine if a but clunky. Good and narrow for public transport.

I had one and the pros and cons are pretty much what AmandinePoulain said.

I found it a bit awkward to steer and turn round corners sometimes.

We bought a base for the car (I think it was around £30) and the car seat just clicked in and out of that, which was very handy. If we didn't have the base we could just secure the car seat using the seatbelt.
