Icandy Apple to pear conversion, advice please!

Hello, i currently have an icandy apple jogger (3 wheeler) and am expecting my 2nd. I really want to convert it to a pear but it costs £400 to do in the shop!! I wanted to do it second hand but you can't buy the stabliser wheels anywhere individually!! Does anyone know if I can convert it using the normal icandy apple front wheels to make it a 4 wheeler? is there any difference between these and the stabliser? Thanks

You need the Pear wheels I think to carry the weight of two children. They are different. My suggestion is to trawl EBay and the iCandy Facebook forums and find the bits you need.

I'd deffinatly look around for a better price. When I got my pear the upgrade kit was £300, dd is 3.3yo and I was pregnant with her so a while back.

Thanks everyone. The upgrade is £300 plus £90 for the carrycot. So can i convert it to a 4 wheeler and then get a second hand pip? Or do I have to have the stabliser wheels in the converter set? Is there a difference between the stabliser wheels and the apple front wheels? Hope this is making sense x

No, I am getting a bit confused. There is a difference between the Apple 4 wheels and the Pear front wheels. The new Pear front wheels I believe come in the Pear upgrade pack. You are supposed to swap your apple wheels for the Pear. The bit I don't know is how you go from the Jogger to a regular 4 wheel Apple. I think they have different nose plates or something. So I don't know if you can go from a 3 wheel jogger to a Pear in one move, or have to go from the jogger to 4 wheel Apple and then to Pear. My suggestion is that you get on the phone today to any iCandy stockist or John Lewis and run this via them. You will get the right answer in minutes then.
