iCandy carrycot question

Does anyone know if the carrycots for the iCandy are the same for all chassis? I'm leaning towards the Cherry as it seems to be one of the lightest around, and a friend has the Peach. She has only used the carrycot for a few weeks and may sell it to me (it is in immaculate condition, but would buy a new mattress) which would be a great money saver!

You can't interchange carrycots, no. You could buy a second hand one and probably get your money back when you've finished.

Ah, that's a shame. Spoilsports iCandy!!! I don't think I'd buy a second hand one without knowing where it came from iykwim.

You can buy a new mattress for it if that helps. iCandy supply them and I have seen other companies online who do carrycot mattresses.

Buying a second hand one would save a lot of money, and they don't get used for long... maybe I shouldn't be such a snob :o

:o I don't see any reason not to buy a second hand carrycot. As Tiggy says, buy a new mattress, wash the covers and you're sorted. They're such a massive expense for up to 6 months of use if you buy new.

And here begins a whole new beginning of researching prices, and lists.
