At what age would the average toddler outgrow the Bugaboo Donkey seat?

I am really tempted by this pram, in duo mode, for impending June arrival.

DS measures average weight and height for his age, always has done, so predict he will carry on in much the same way. He will be 20 months when DC2 arrives.

Basically, I am wondering whether we'll only get decent double use out of it for a few months, or whether it might be OK for both kids until DS1 hits age 2.5/3 years? If anyone has any idea, it'd be great to hear opinions...

Also considering the Britax B-dual, but would prefer to see the kids side-by-side

Thanks

Have you looked at Best Buggy? There are photos here of a girl aged 3 years 3 months and 102cm tall who fits well in the seat. You could look in the eldest's red book to see what age he is likely to be that tall. I think it will last you well height wise, just check it will fit in your car if itneeds to as it's huge folded.

That's perfect, just what I was looking for - thanks so much!

No problem :)

The seats are really big...much bigger than you think. Plus the hood can be clipped higher up the frame. The leg length is longer than an average pushchair. I think it's excellent for older toddlers :)
