BJCM pre 2011?

Have been offered a BJCM for a bargainous £100 but it's not the 2011 version. Does it really matter and is the more upright seat worth me spending another £100 and getting a brand new one?

Have been trying to choose between that and a B-Agile but DS looked so uncomfortable in the B Agile that Im going to have to go for the Mini despite it being too tall for me!

I was also going to wait for the GT to come out but Im getting so frustrated with my pushchair that I can't wait anymore!

Also have got a lovely charcoal buggy snuggle (one of the new ones) but can't work out how Id attach it because you obviously can't loop it over the seat back.

IMHO no it isn't worth paying the extra for. Have a look here I know its the double but it shows the differences well. The straps are simply two pieces of fabric with velcro on and could easily be fashioned - or probably a piece of string around the top of the seat could well do the same. The other main difference is that the 2011 version has a PE board in the rear of the seat to "prevent slumping" but I never found it an issue and you can either buy the boards online or else simply insert some strong cardboard cut to shape.

You really need a tie on buggysnuggle - the new ones have ties too don't they? For a baby who reclines you need to push the ends through the mesh when reclined, tie and pull the seat up. For a toddler who doesn't nap, simply tie around the frame.

If you want a brand new one, halfords have the pre-2011 version in red/black/cream for £110.

Oh no I looked on there earlier in the week and there was none anywhere...that really would have been a bargain!

After all my dithering the one that I was looking at had gone but have managed to get a 2011 one and a raincover for £140 which I thought was pretty good.

Am now stressing that it really is going to be too tall for me and DH is going to kill me...oh well I suppose I can always sell it again!
