SO FRUSTRATED! Maclaren Techno XLR bought early 2009 does not fit new carry cot - anyone got an old one?

Argh! Thought I was being so economical, buying a Maclaren carry cot ready for DS2 to go with my Maclaren Techno XLR, bought early 2009 when DS1 was born.

Much frustration that the carry cot is only compatible with XLRs manufactured after Jan 2009 - not something that the supplier's website mentioned (thanks, KIDDISAVE).

Does an older Maclaren carry cot model exist and had anyone got one they'd like to sell?

I don't think they started making the soft carrycot until 2009 - I bought it at the end of 2009 for DS1 born in early 2010. At the time they only did it in one colour, but I see they now do lots of different ones... To my knowledge it hasn't changed since they launched it in 2009.

So, to answer your question, I don't think an older carycot model exists.
