Advice on double buggy

Smarties789 · 09/02/2012 19:28

I'm after a new double buggy and hoping to get some advice from people.

I've got the Phil and Teds at the moment and it's just so heavy to get in and out the boot of the car, and fiddly having to attach the seat onto the back every time, and also the seat isn't that easy to get my little one in and out of.

Ideally, I'd like a side by side one but have no idea which one to go for.

I've got a renault magane so not a huge boot.

Double nipper is fantastic

Isn't the Nipper quite big folded though? If it fits then it's definitely worth looking at. Or a Baby Jogger of some type (Mini, Elite, Classic or the GT when it arrives). The Elite and Classic are also biggish folded, but will be nicer to push.

The Nipper is indeed big. I have a Megane CC - so bigger than average - and the Nipper only just fits on the sill ie a millimetre more and my boot wouldn't shut. Its also bulky to lift. The old version is lighter than the new version.
TBH I would suggest looking at the Baby Jogger City Mini or GT Doubles, or the TFK Twinner Twist Duo. Or if you dont mind second hand, the Air Buggy Mimi is a good pushchair.

Ooo, or the TwinGo! :)

Not at the doubles stage yet personally but loads of friends who are, and in my opinion, the winner for side-by-sides is the Baby Jogger City Mini....I have plenty of friends who have little Ford Fiestas and fit them in the boot no problem.
