I am HATING my quinny buzz/maxi cosi seat. HOW do I get the flippin' adaptors to fit in properly?

Apart from the annoying, mind-of-its-own popping up from folded down ( the tether thing is too damn tight and takes super strength to untether)...having to push 2 buttons and pull something at the same time in order to adjust/fold anything an dthe fact the damn thing won't 'stand up' when folded....biggest bug bear at the moment is fitting the car seat. We have the little adaptor things... but the slots where they are supposed to go on the main buggy frame don't look right...like they aren't quite aligned properly..so the adaptors don't fit all the way in.
I expect I have to push six buttons simultaneously and do a little dance to get them to line up...please can someone tell me which buttons and what dance? It is making me say things that result in DS telling me to "say it inside your head, mummy"...Grin

Have you got them the right way round? On the correct side? If you've got the left one on the left one and the right one on the right one, they should just slide in and click.

And.... If the hole where the adaptor should go is misaligned, There's a grey button which you press on the inside of the bit where the adaptor goes. Press it whilst turning the bit with the hole on, IYSWIM, until they line up. Do you have the manual?

Or.... Put the normal seat on and make sure it's in the lying flat position before you take it off; then the holes will be aligned.

Thanks obvobliv. Def putting left in left and right in right... it is the hole that is misaligned. So I need to press the grey button that is inside the bit I want the adaptor to go in, and turn the bit until it all aligns? Okay dokey...will give that a go later, when there is no one around to point and laugh at the crazy lady wrestling with her buggy in the car park!
