Ideas for a 'fold up small' pushchair?

Hi

We have a Gracco which we use all the time but we're going to Cornwall in the summer and I need something that folds up small to take with us, the Gracco takes up most of the car boot. Would prefer an adjustable back so DD can lie flat to sleep and a hood/ sunshade would be good. She will be 19 months but is in 2 year old clothes now if that makes any difference. Im not fussed on the colour. Also, is there a proper name for 'fold up small'? :) Thanks in advance

Compact folding. Wink

Do you have a budget?

My suggestions are Britax B-Agile, Baby Jogger City Mini, Maxi-Cosi Noa, but it depends on budget really. The first two could completely replace your current pushchair if you wanted to and both fold flat in half by pulling a handle in the middle of the seat. The Noa isn't really an every day pushchair but folds really small and has a handle that you pull out when folded to wheel it behind you, which would be useful if/when your daughter chooses to walk. All are good for a big toddler.

Do not buy anything from mamas and papas, overpriced shit for people who don't know any better. I am one of those people. Never again.

I like the petite star zia. It folds up very small, and is short and wide rather than long and thin like the umbrella folding ones.

It's lie flat and my chunky 19mo is very comfy in it. I had to buy it to replace my maclaren quest which she just could not get comfortable in.

Thanks guys :) Just had a look and the Star Zia and the Baby Jogger both look really good. Lots of choice on ebay too so I might not have to break the bank :)

Emmaljunga spider looks different, and durable. It's supposed to be v compact.

The baby jogger gets my vote and it's in the sale at the moment here - www.pramsupermarket.com/compare-baby-jogger-city-mini-pushchair

Also my friend has a micralite which is pretty compact pushchair.

I'm wanting to buy a Maxi Cosi Noa (or Bebe Confort as they're basically the same thing) for my 16 month old. It's going to be for my mum to use and for holidays. It looks perfect - one handed folding/unfolding which will be useful when trying not to lose an unruly toddler! It's a tiny fold, light, bit of a recline for naps, and when it's folded there's a pull out handle so you can pull it behind you when your toddler's decided they're walking for a bit, it'd be great to pull along the beach too!
