Between a double BJCM and a Baby Jogger Sidewalk double (the Sidewalk is on sale at kiddicare as an exclusive now?)

As far as I can see, not much... is it just that you can remove the seat fabric for the fixed carrycot to go on, rather than having a softcot option? Does anyone on here have one who can tell me if it's a fabulous buggy (I know how many BJCM fans there are out there :))? cheers

I think the difference is the fabric on it and a smaller box shaped basket, black frame colour and no "sit up" straps (straps that Velcro round the frame at the top of the seat back to give a 90 degree sitting position). In other words the most upright position will be a little more relaxed on this model.
You can order a more modern larger curved basket direct from babyjogger if you wanted to. I just bought a new one for my BJCM for £10 + £5 postage.

this help www.bestbuggy.co.uk/category/side-by-side-pushchair-comparisons/baby-jogger-sidewalk-vs-baby-jogger-city-mini/
The fabric can be removed on the City Mini too and the compact carrycot will fit like the Kiddicare photos. This only works for twins. For siblings, one hood would be removed and the carrycot fits over the fabric.
I love my single City Minis loads. I am not a fan of the double because the handle height is fixed and its quite high, and handle height is more critical when pushing two, and the basket access is poor. But it's packed with features. The new City Mini GT should iron my niggles out and of you have a spare £550ish IMHO would be worth the extra. There's photos and info on the Best Buggy site above.

blimey that website is AMAZING. Seriously, really helpful!

thanks! I think I'm going to hold out for the BJGT double... sounds like it's pretty much the best side by side out there.
